War Rules
Welcome to the single greatest club in the entire Sim City World. You'll have to forgive us if we're a little biased. The purpose of this blog is to give you, the member, a cursory look at our rules.
We'll also look at getting into some things that allow for more communication apart from when we're online in the future. But for now, let's tell you a little bit about ourselves, how we got started and what our rules and war strategy are.
We'll also look at getting into some things that allow for more communication apart from when we're online in the future. But for now, let's tell you a little bit about ourselves, how we got started and what our rules and war strategy are.
The core of our group (about a half-dozen or so of us are still around) started in a different group, which was run by an overly militant owner, but we won't go into all that.
After yours truly got kicked out for telling said owner she might be a smidge over the top, the rest of the group formed our current group, stalked me down on Twitter (in a totally good way) and a new group--this group--was formed.
We have existed as the current group since the late spring/early summer of 2017.
So that's who we are. Here are our rules.
- Don't take something intended for and requested by someone else requested. This is a bootable offense. Checking the chat is a good way to avoid that. Repeated offenses of this WILL get you booted.
- Participate in the sharing. People who always ask for stuff and never sell stuff won't get booted, but you won't get a lot of forgiveness when you screw up.
- Our group is a bigger one, which is great for Mayoral Contests since we can generally get the ruby chest. But it makes wars a bit more delicate. For that reason, we have some very specific war strategies that you MUST comply with to remain a part of our group.
- When you get hit, wait until you are under shield to rebuild. Then, wait until you have full energy to come out from under shield and attack.
- We employ an "overkill" strategy. That means we don't do "just enough" to put someone under shield. We want to get them down to one or two points, then obliterate them with a large attack (i.e. Dancing Shoes or Movie Monster). This ensures we do the most damage possible with every opponent.
- It is very crucial for EVERYONE to follow these guidelines becuase the opponent is generally going to be smaller than we are, which means they will have more to attack, which means they have an inherent advantage. We must deal as much damage as possible with every opponent and minimize the damage they can do to us.
- READ THE COMMENTS before attacking. Someone could have been waiting for three hours for someone to come out from under shield, and then another person waltzes in and steals the hit as soon as it happens.
- NEVER EVER EVER EVER boost the opponent. This will get you kicked as soon as the war is over.
- TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!!! Keeping these rules is for everyone. It makes for a happy, conflict-free team.
Using energy boosts on the enemy makes Snuckles angry.
